Man Overboard!

Did most of the Man Overboard workout today, but had to leave early in order to catch the bus to work. Had to run last 100m to catch the bus, so can't cut it closer than this. Also, since I've got to leave early, need to think about an evening workout to catch up to the others and reinforce the skills worked in the morning session.

Loved the TGUs as a warm up, and decided to do them with Kettlebells since I don't want to invest the money in dumbbells. The 36 is a little much right now, but the 26 worked pretty well. Have to concentrate on watching the bell a bit more, but further practice should help immensely.

3 rounds of 2:05 500m rows wasn't bad....could probably do a little better, will shoot for 1:55 next time. Loved the 45lb KB swings (31, 32 and 20 in 1/2 set), and felt really comfortable with the 75lb barbell push press (27, 25 and 8 over 1/3rd of the time). Squat form is getting a lot better and more natural, but need to get more on my heels and the back of my legs, not just the quads. Did 45 and 30 squats, and will knock out another 50 tonight for good measure.

Magoo, way to go on the rows today! I guess you used your speed to make the rounds a little shorter and to catch the bus. Another reason why crossfit teaches applicable athletic skills.
